My snowy ski trip

A few weeks ago, I went on a ski trip with my class at school. This is a picture of when I was getting ready to go. I was getting my lunch bag packed up. I got a PB&J sandwich, a milk, some cheetos, and some carrots.

I was so scared and excited at the same time. I could hardly control myself! It was my first time skiing...I could hardly wait until I got onto the mountain.
When I got off the bus, we went in a line to get our ski boots. After we got our boots on we went and got our skis. After we put everything on, we went up by the mountain to see who our ski teacher would be. My ski teacher's name was Tom. He was a very funny guy. He even let us think of a team name for ourselves. We were the "Snow Leapords." We started out with a few ski moves like "pizza" and "french fry." He also said for "pizza" to spread your legs apart like you're spreading a peanut butter sandwich. When we got all our moves good, we went up to the mountain to go on the bunny hill. We held onto a rope that would take us up to the very top of the hill. And when it was time to go, Tom would say that we could ski off the mountain if you would like. I was the only one who wanted to since I'm a daring person. It was so fun to go down the hill...I rode down fast. I couldn't even see the trees! After that, we went to take off our snowboots and skis and get our own boots on. We went back on the bus to have our lunches at a picnic spot nearby. After lunch we got back on the bus and we went back to school.

There's ME! Holding my skis the way you should when you're not wearing them.
I wish I could go again...maybe next year!
